(Insert Changes Here)

On my last day in Portland my bike was stolen.
I live in Coos Bay now, teaching high school.
The back yard is a slough, which means that it's salt water, probably.
(In transition).

People who talk about being writers bother me,
But then, here I am.
Living alone, with a slough,
And a cat,
And the obscure liquor is sure to follow.
Probably vests with pockets and a beard,
Mustache, fishing pole.
How do you gut a steelhead,
Just chop off the head, and let it spill out.

I used to say,
That if I was going to ___________,
That I'd have to be a different person.
And then I moved away.
And the differences were.
