Impressing the Sun

Think about the sun,
someone said.
It's 8 minutes away,
at the speed of light.

It's a ball of fire,
which is only sort-of true,
and it's that far away.
It can still burn you.

Make a man a fire.
He's warm for a day.
Set a man on fire,
He's warm for the rest of his life.

I like the idea of the sun
Getting bigger and bigger
and swallowing up the Earth.
All the burgers get burned.
