Stating the Obvious, as it were, but I like the commercials for the Swiffer. In the most recent clip I saw on the tube, there was a demonstration of a typical straw broom and the aforementioned Swiffer. Swiff glides with grace and ease, a pivot now and then for acent, dust adheres to its disposable pad like a similie adheres to explaning something in a non-literal way. The broom mashes at the ground as if its user were a space gorrilla unfamiliar with Earth's gravity, or most common household item.
Our country's awesome Swiff,
With haste we destroy thrift,
And buy, buy, buy.
When an old broom will do,
We need something new.
Where as you could vaccuum,
The Swiffer wins.
